چکیده

Hypertension is a very important problem around the world. The inhibition of Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE, EC.3.4.15.1.) regarded as fundamental hypertension treatment. But, synthetic ACE inhibitors have several side effects. For this reason, there are lots studies to improve green inhibitors. Therefore, study was designed determine potential inhibitory effects two members Apiaceae, Coriandrum sativum and Chaerophyllum macropodum, on human plasma ACE. Fort purpose, water extracts plants were used. activity detected spectrophotometrically. Both plant showed an effect activity. obtained results that macropodum with IC50 value 0.7 mg/mL 1.14 mg/mL, respectively. Lineweaver-Burk graph used type. types found reversible noncompetitive. According results, valuable functional food capacity which may be balance blood pressure efficiently.

Regulation of blood pressure is one of the important functions of Angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE, EC. 3.4.15.1). ACE is widely distributed and appears to have several important physiological functions including its major role in blood pressure regulation. In the treatment of congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, diabetic nephropathy etc.ACE inhibitors are used. The current st...

polymorphism in the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ace) gene and ace activity in type 2 diabetic patients

diabetes mellitus is a multifactorial disease. it has recently been shown that an insertion (i)/deletion (d) polymorphism exists in the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ace) gene that can affect the serum ace level. there are three genotypes: dd, di, and ii, with the ace level being highest in dd, intermediate in di, and lowest in ii. in the present investigation, 170 patients with type 2 diabete...
